You know, something I've noticed? How much my body relies on fruit to give it its perk and energy. How did I notice this you may ask? I've come to find, surprisingly, as I've been here in Australia that fruit is not something I can always expect to be in the fridge when I open it. Not because it's not purchase, but simply because there are seven other mouths eating at it too. I never thought I'd be more grateful for my apartment kitchen before...weird how that works.
Still no new update from that awesome interview last week (still crossing my fingers!!), and in the meantime trying to find more noteworthy things I could occupy my time with other than stressing out about applications and waiting for a phone call or email.
I find it funny that whenever I'm bored if I've decided I've talked to you all enough that the other thing that automatically comes to mind is baking something new. Food, in other words. Ha. I blame it on the fact that I'm living in the same house with my little sister again, and she's really the baking guru here. She's always making me hungry for the next thing she makes that I shouldn't eat, but inevitably somehow I always do. I think I'll nickname her the devil's advocate for my resolution to eat healthy this year (okay, more so than I did last year).
She's horribly genius. She found a three ingredient recipe for peanut-butter cookies (my second weakness next to chocolate), and after I had one my brain and my stomach were telling me I needed another. Sadly though, she only made nine. I couldn't have a second helping, so I didn't dare ask for one for fear of getting thrown out of the house.
I think I'll work on expanding my drawing skills. Where's my pencil...?
Cheers,
Jess
